How it Began
Events on Call was created due to the changing needs of event planners during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Our Event Management Company, JR Global Events, began receiving numerous client requests for qualified onsite event professionals due to staff shortages and the desire to level up their previous event experiences.
JR Global Events has an extensive rolodex (yes, we are showing our age) of event professionals ready to get back to work, and this is where the Events On Call matchmaking tool was born.
Who We Are
Co-owners of JR Global Events,, Jennafer Ross, CMP, CED, and Stephanie Krzywanski, CMM, CED, have been managing events worldwide since 2004, and they have both been powerhouses in the events and meetings industry for 25-plus years. They have now joined forces with event tech veteran, Candice Bakke, and as the Managing Partners of Events On Call, this trio KNOWS events.
They understand what is required to create a successful event: expert event execution, expert onsite solutions, and expert technology. Through Events On Call, they bring all of this knowledge and expertise to companies and organizations that are striving to execute successful meetings and events.
How It -Works
Events On Call is a member-driven organization. The Onsite Event Specialists join as members to gain access to associations and corporations looking for temporary onsite event staffing.
What makes Events On Call different is that the EOC team interviews all onsite event specialists, completes a thorough background check, validates credentials, and enables the OES member to manage their expertise and profile information that is shared.
Thus, the EOC organizations needing to hire have a reputable resource for qualified onsite event professionals. They are able to search for expertise, experience, and skillset, and leave the contracting paperwork, payments, tax documents, and travel arrangements to the EOC team.
